Sunday School
This class is geared toward kids up to ten years old. Children meet during the first half of the worship service and join their parents for communion afterward. Lessons include hands-on activities, games, stories and crafts all pointing to who Jesus is and how he shows us the love of God. |
J-Walkers
Our youth class meets after the church service for food, games and lessons about how to use the teachings of Jesus in our modern world. It is a time of socializing with like-minded kids and exploring what the love that God does for his people. |
Kids' Sunday
One Sunday a month, the children and youth take on leadership roles during the main church service. They carry the cross and torches, do the readings, lead the psalms and prayers of the people. Younger ones greet parishioners as they come in, bring up the gifts and take up the collection plates. We believe that our kids aren't just the future of our congregation, but they are a vital part of it now. |
The Episcopal Diocese of Albany's Children's and Youth Ministries includes special events, day camp, and overnight camping experiences.
