Daughter's of the King
"Souper Bowl Tuesdays"

Now two months old, "Souper Bowl Tuesdays" has been a time of joyful cooking.  A few local residents are attending and beginning to spread the word about our efforts to help feed our brothers and sisters.  Many thanks to those who have generously contributed food items and/or graciously donated funds to help the Daughters purchase necessary food and supplies.

Please continue to keep the Daughters in prayer and remember that Jesus said, "Truly I tell you, just as you did it (gave food) to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me."

Girl Scout Sunday

Sunday, March 18th at our 9 AM Worship Service

In honor of Girl Scout week and especially the 100th anniversary of scouting in the USA, March 18th will be Girl Scout Sunday.  We would like to invite all past and present girl scouts to participate by wearing something they might still have or even simply green on that Sunday.  our current girl scouts and leaders at St. John's will be participating in parts of the service like passing out bulletins, taking the collection, and providing cookies at coffee hour.  Mostly we would like people to know it is Girl Scout Sunday and ask any one who has been or is a scout to feel included.

Monthly Healing Service

A special service of healing is held at St. John's at 7 PM on the fourth Tuesday of each month.  This is a time when anyone may come forward during the service for a special healing prayer.  The laying on of hands and anointing with oil is a part of the healing prayer if one so desires.  This has been a powerful service for many who have attended.

If you desire healing prayer for yourself, a loved one, or a friend, please feel comfortable in joining us the fourth Tuesday of each month.
